In 2020, Florida Georgia Line was working on new music and the world was dealing with the pandemic when Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard tapped “I Love My Country” for their album. The song was released as a single in March of that year.
Tyler said it reminded him of FGL’s earlier music. He said that if it made him feel good, he wanted to share it with his fans. With lockdowns in place, this song could at least bring some good vibes.
“I Love My Country” landed just shy of the top spot in 2020.
