Dear Kix,
I am currently serving a six month deployment with the United States Air Force in the Middle East. I would like to nominate my wife, Christin, as the Hero of the Week. She has made sacrifice after sacrifice to provide me the opportunity to serve our beloved country. She cares for our children and our home without a single complaint day in and day out.
Spouses of armed forces members are not recognized enough but they are truly heroes in every way!

God bless you, John, for your service, and certainly you make a great point… and to all those keeping the home fires burning, your service does not go unnoticed here at ACC either. We understand it takes two, a lot of times, to get it done in duty to our country. And, to all of you service men and women out there with families listening on American Forces radio, here’s a big shout to the ones at home waiting and supporting!
