Semester in Review
Hey, Countdown Christy here and I just want to say that it’s been a whirlwind of a semester for me. Interning at American Country Countdown is something that I will never forget and I am so sad that it is actually over. I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with the staff at ACC and to be able to blog on this site. I hope you all enjoyed reading my posts as much as I enjoyed writing them!! …and don’t worry, there will be more blogs starting next year. I am currently searching for the next BEST blogger!
It seems only appropriate for me to reflect on some of the best moments that I have had with ACC. I looked forward to going into the office every week. Kix and the whole American Country Countdown team are all very nice and helpful and I will truly miss everyone! Such good times!!! Sitting in during Kix’s interviews and meeting all the talented people that came in then telling all of you about it, is another highlight of this experience. Also, being able to go to the CMA Awards, with everyone from ACC, and hearing Kix’s name being announced for winning National Broadcast Personality of the Year for American Country Countdown was a moment I will remember for the rest of my life. One more memory was made when Kix took me and the whole ACC team out to lunch on my last day. I have attached a picture of Kix, myself and ACC Producer/Writer, Donna Britt, right after lunch…a perfect ending to a perfect semester!!!
Thank you all for reading everything I have had to say all semester and I am personally looking forward to reading these blogs in the new year!
